News and Events

The WP3 Reports and the interactive wikimap of the IM-SAFE project are now available on the project website!
A great thank you to EVACES 2023 for this special opportunity - we’re honoured to actively support the applied research in the #SHM field and specifically in the #vibrational #analysis domain! Looking forward to it!
Today SACERTIS Ingegneria SRL had the pleasure to be involved in the organisation and moderation of the General Session 4 - ‘Service Life & Maintenance/Proactive Maintenance approaches and decision-making in future European standardisation’ held at the #iabmas2022 conference in Barcelona, chaired by Paola Darò and Alfred Strauss.
SACERTIS Ingegneria SRL gave another interesting talk at the conference held in Palermo - the 10th European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (EWSHM2022). Giulia Lastrico presented our paper "Concrete Bridges Continuous SHM Using MEMS Sensors: Anomaly Detection for Preventive Maintenance."
Sacertis participates to the #IABMAS2022 Conference in Barcelona organizing the Mini Symposim MS17: Framework to Facilitate Proactive Maintenance Approaches in the Asset Management Based on the European IM-SAFE Project Findings.
The evaluation of the safety of existing structures plays a fundamental role in a scenario of infrastructure characterized by the end of the project life, often with ongoing degradation processes, increasing traffic loads, unexpected effects due to accidental actions or climate change, and the consequent need to prepare structural adaptation interventions.
Sacertis is supporting several tests at the laboratory of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (https://web.uniroma2.it/) on full-scale prototypes to validate its monitoring solutions for newly constructed tunnels.
Today Paola Darò and Serena Negri from Sacertis had the great opportunity to present the most recent outcomes of the IM-SAFE project during fib – International Federation for Structural Concrete – Fédération Internationale du Béton Congress in Oslo - session on Innovation is in Standards. The papers targeted monitoring, data-informed assessment and condition-based maintenance of concrete bridges.
Great start of the fib – International Federation for Structural Concrete – Fédération Internationale du Béton international congress 2022 in Oslo!
SACERTIS Ingegneria SRL is present with its structural monitoring and diagnostic technology in the Santa Lucia Tunnel, the longest 3-lane tunnel in Europe, opened to traffic on March 18th.
With commitment and dedication, SACERTIS Ingegneria SRL is promoting scientific dissemination in the field of SHM.
On February 20, 2022, SACERTIS Ingegneria SRL participated in the IMAC-XL Structural Dynamics conference - The human experience of sound and vibration, held in Orlando from February 7-10, 2022, with the paper "Anomaly detection through long term SHM: some interesting cases on bridges", as part of the collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering's Group of Mechanical and Thermal Measurements at Politecnico di Milano led by Prof. Alfredo Cigada.
